Liquid courage and a spark of inspiration. I am inspired by every day magic, and I love making simple beautiful things from a variety of mediums included watercolor and ink. For the past few years, I’ve enjoyed creating artwork for friends and family. But I didn’t start selling my creations until recently. I am primarily a lighting designer based out of Chicago, but with the theatre industry still decimated, I decided to make the jump and finally open my Etsy shop. As a lighting designer, most of my art and creativity are rooted in theory, science, and technology. Pursuing an MFA in theatre design pushed my boundaries and allowed me to explore creating more tangible art through drawing and painting.
